Question by Christine R: Does swimming in the Ocean negate any tries to get pregnant?

My husband and I are going on a cruise this summer and we are going to use the trip to kick off things in the baby making department. I know not to swim in a pool or spa because the chlorine can change the PH in my vagina and make it a hostile environment for sperm. But what about salt water? We want to do some snorkeling when we get to Bermuda and I don't want that to spoil things. How long after having sex should I wait to take a dip in the ocean and how long after swimming would it be alright to have sex again? (how long til the PH in my vagina is back to normal?)
